Thanks for your interest in joining the UTI Team!

Before proceeding with your application, please review our expectations:

  • We definitely expect a qualification in Business / Management (e.g. BBA, CIMA).
    It's OK if you are still studying for your qualification. MBA students are also welcome :)
  • We do things differently. We need people who can "think different" (watch Apple's ad for inspiration).
  • Good analytical skills and "business sense" is a must
  • Excellent English (Spoken/Written) is essential. Excellent Tamil (spoken) is nice-to-have
  • Public speaking / Presentation / Training skills is a plus, as is understanding organizational dynamics - but we can easily coach you on these areas so don't worry about these too much ;)

All set? Here's what you need to send us:

  1. Imagine you are explaining to someone important to you (spouse, girl/boyfriend, parent, best friend) why you are excited about this opportunity.
    What would you tell them? Max. 200 words
  2. Describe the "services" we listed in the advertisement in business terms.
    Feel free to include multiple answers for each service (but each answer should be only 1 sentence)
  3. A 1-page CV. Seriously. Just one page.
    We need to know your name, age, mobile, email, academic/professional qualifications, work experience (if any), and any relevant skills you possess.
    We really, really, don't want to know your ethnicity, religion, address, school, O/L and A/L results, etc.
    We'd like to know your career ambition, but only if it's something you wrote yourself (please don't copy generic statements present in >90% of CVs )
  4. If you've ever run a business (full or part time), even if it failed, please do mention it in your application
